Responsibilities
- Manage and organize incoming correspondence, emails, and mail for department heads.
- Process and maintain accurate records in accordance with government data privacy regulations.
- Assist the public with inquiries regarding city services, permits, and procedures.
- Prepare reports, agendas, and meeting minutes for city council meetings.
- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and ensure compliance with all state and local policies.
- Coordinate schedules and arrange travel for department staff.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative, clerical, or government office setting is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
