Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain official government records and documentation
- Provide exceptional citizen support via weekend in-person and virtual services
- Coordinate interdepartmental operations and public communications
- Process permits, licenses, and regulatory compliance paperwork
- Support public meetings and community engagement initiatives
- Utilize municipal software systems for data management and reporting
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local government regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in public administration
- Minimum 2 years in government or administrative support roles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management tools
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Knowledge of NC municipal regulations preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean background check
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced public service environments
