Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential government records with 100% accuracy
- Process weekly payroll documentation for departmental staff
- Coordinate public inquiries and correspondence with professionalism
- Prepare detailed administrative reports for city council meetings
- Support grant application processes and compliance documentation
- Implement records retention policies per Kentucky state regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Valid Kentucky driver's license (may be required for travel)
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Kentucky Sunshine Laws and FOIA procedures
- Experience with payroll processing systems
