Responsibilities
- Process and review incoming applications and documents for government assistance programs.
- Answer incoming inquiries via phone and email, directing residents to appropriate resources.
- Maintain accurate and confidential digital and physical filing systems.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, memos, and correspondence for department leadership.
- Perform data entry tasks to update case management systems and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline administrative workflows.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal government regulations and policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or customer service role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required for government employment.
