Responsibilities
- Screening Operations: Conduct thorough screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo to detect prohibited items and threats.
- Pat-Downs & Wands: Perform pat-downs and use handheld detection devices to ensure security compliance.
- X-Ray Operations: Operate and monitor X-ray screening equipment to identify suspicious items in luggage and cargo.
- Customer Service: Deliver professional, courteous, and efficient service to travelers while enforcing security regulations with empathy and respect.
- Documentation: Complete required forms, reports, and logs accurately and in a timely manner.
- Protocol Adherence: Strictly adhere to TSA security directives, agency policies, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Education: High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check, including a criminal history review, drug screen, and credit check.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions. Must pass a medical exam.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
