Responsibilities
- Develop and implement municipal policies aligned with Fort Worth's strategic goals
- Manage departmental budgets exceeding $5M with fiscal accountability
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve public service delivery
- Analyze legislative impacts and prepare regulatory compliance reports
- Coordinate with state and federal agencies on collaborative programs
- Supervise staff performance and professional development
- Present findings and recommendations to city council committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of government or public sector experience
- Proven expertise in budget management and grant writing
- Advanced certification in Public Administration (CPM or MPA preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools
- Strong knowledge of Texas municipal regulations and statutes
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Valid Texas driver's license
