Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze state/federal legislation affecting Virginia policies
- Develop strategic recommendations for agency leadership
- Liaise with elected officials, stakeholders, and community partners
- Prepare legislative reports, testimony, and policy briefings
- Coordinate interdepartmental initiatives on public policy matters
- Track regulatory changes and compliance requirements
- Represent agency at public hearings and meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years government affairs or legislative experience
- Deep knowledge of Virginia's legislative process

- Proficiency in policy analysis and research methodologies
