Responsibilities
- Perform General Office Administration: Manage incoming correspondence, answer multi-line phones, and direct calls to appropriate departments with a professional demeanor.
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Accurately input and maintain digital and physical records using standard government software and databases.
- Customer Service: Assist visitors, citizens, and staff by answering inquiries and providing information regarding city services and procedures.
- Document Management: File, organize, and retrieve documents efficiently to ensure smooth departmental operations.
- Support Staff Operations: Assist senior staff with special projects, prepare reports, and maintain office supplies inventory.
- Compliance & Ethics: Adhere to all municipal policies, safety regulations, and ethical standards while performing duties.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We are looking for the right attitude and work ethic.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred; training provided.
