Responsibilities
- Process incoming mail, permits, and official documents with high accuracy.
- Provide direct support to city managers and department heads.
- Update and maintain internal government databases and records.
- Assist the public with inquiries regarding city ordinances and services.
- Prepare and file weekly reports required by state and federal regulations.
- Operate office equipment, including scanners and fax machines.
- Ensure strict compliance with all privacy laws and data protection policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or government setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Valid Nebraska driver's license and clean driving record.
