Responsibilities
- Conduct Data Analysis: Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and provide actionable insights for government agencies.
- Policy Support: Assist in drafting and reviewing policy proposals based on statistical evidence and regulatory requirements.
- Report Generation: Create comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy of data.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all data handling and reporting practices adhere to federal and state government standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external government partners to communicate findings.
- System Maintenance: Maintain and update internal databases and reporting tools to ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Statistics, Political Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis within the public sector or a relevant government role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Remote Eligibility: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
