Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure public safety and adherence to city ordinances.
- Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance to citizens in a timely and professional manner.
- Enforce traffic laws and issue citations or warnings as necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Collaborate with other city departments and external agencies to resolve community issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of city facilities and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs.
- Provide excellent customer service to the public by answering inquiries and resolving complaints.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- U.S. Citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including standing for extended periods.
