Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming applications, permits, and public requests with high accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, businesses, and visitors at the front desk and over the phone.
- Maintain and update digital and physical records in compliance with city and state regulations.
- Assist in the coordination of city events and public outreach programs.
- Ensure all daily tasks and weekly reports are completed on time and submitted to the department head.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve community issues and improve service delivery.
- Perform routine administrative duties including data entry, filing, and answering inquiries.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in government, administrative, or customer service roles is preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on specific departmental duties.
