Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process incoming applications, permits, and official correspondence.
- Assist the public and employees with inquiries regarding government services, policies, and procedures.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain secure digital and physical records.
- Support administrative staff with scheduling, filing, and daily office operations.
- Prepare reports and summaries using standard office software.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and agency policies.
- Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and customer service delivery.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required.
- Valid California Driverβs License (often required for field roles).
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to undergo paid on-the-job training.
