Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily processing of city government applications and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with city regulations and KY state laws.
- Communicate effectively with constituents, vendors, and city department staff regarding public services.
- Support the weekly payroll preparation by ensuring time sheets and labor hours are accurately logged.
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, and scanning documents.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Monitor inventory and supplies for government facilities to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a government or public sector environment is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
