Responsibilities
- Monitor public safety systems and respond to emergency calls during overnight hours
- Conduct routine patrols and security checks of municipal facilities
- Document incidents and maintain accurate digital records
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during critical events
- Operate communication systems and dispatch resources as needed
- Conduct safety inspections and compliance audits
- Participate in emergency response drills and training programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and security clearance
- Experience in security, military, or law enforcement (government preferred)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and incident reporting software
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
