Responsibilities
- Monitor government surveillance systems, CCTV feeds, and security databases for 12-hour continuous shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Respond immediately to security alerts, alarms, and potential threats; dispatch appropriate response units.
- Maintain accurate, detailed logs of all incidents, activities, and system anomalies during the night shift.
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement, local police, and emergency management teams to coordinate responses.
- Perform routine system checks, software updates, and hardware maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of shift reports and ensure compliance with government regulations.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for government clearance.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in security operations, monitoring centers, or law enforcement support.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to remain calm under pressure, and proficiency with MS Office Suite and security software.
- Background: Successful completion of a government background check and drug screening is mandatory.
