Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain critical municipal systems including emergency communications and infrastructure controls
- Respond to after-hours citizen inquiries and coordinate emergency services as first point of contact
- Conduct routine security patrols of government facilities and digital infrastructure
- Process and document overnight municipal transactions with strict compliance protocols
- Collaborate with federal/state agencies for cross-jurisdictional operations
- Generate daily operational reports for senior leadership review
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina government security clearance (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years experience in public sector or emergency response operations
- Proficiency with CiviGov digital systems and emergency management software
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in high-pressure scenarios
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for multi-agency coordination
- Flexibility to adapt to rotating shift schedules and weekend coverage
- Associates degree in Public Administration or related field required
