Responsibilities
- Monitor emergency response systems and coordinate city-wide incident management during night hours
- Perform regular security patrols and infrastructure inspections across municipal facilities
- Document operational reports and maintain compliance with federal/state regulations
- Coordinate with law enforcement, fire departments, and public health agencies
- Manage critical communication systems during off-peak operational hours
- Conduct environmental safety audits and hazard mitigation protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred in public administration or criminal justice
- Minimum 2 years experience in government operations or security management
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to obtain security clearance and background check certification
- Strong proficiency in incident reporting software and GIS mapping tools
- Physical stamina to work 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Emergency First Aid/CPR certification
