Responsibilities
- Administer daily pension plan transactions and ensure compliance with ERISA and government regulations
- Process daily payroll deductions and contributions for retirement accounts
- Prepare and maintain accurate pension-related financial reports and documentation
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pension benefits and enrollment processes
- Conduct audits of pension records to ensure data accuracy and regulatory adherence
- Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to resolve discrepancies
- Stay updated on evolving pension legislation and implement policy changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pension administration or government finance
- Strong proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools
- Deep understanding of ERISA, IRS regulations, and public pension systems
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage complex financial data
