Responsibilities
- Administer pension enrollment, disbursement, and compliance processes
- Provide retirement counseling to government employees in Omaha and Texas
- Manage pension databases and ensure regulatory compliance
- Prepare quarterly financial reports for the State Treasurer's Office
- Coordinate with HR departments across state agencies
- Develop retirement education materials for public workshops
- Conduct audits of pension fund transactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years pension administration or benefits management experience
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or SHRM-SCP preferred
- Proficiency with pension management software (e.g., UltiPro, Workday)
- Strong knowledge of ERISA and state pension regulations
- Experience with cross-state pension compliance
- Excellent communication skills for public presentations
