Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts for city departments
- Research best practices in urban governance and public policy
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and implementation recommendations
- Coordinate with stakeholders including elected officials and community groups
- Monitor federal/state compliance requirements for city programs
- Present findings to city council and senior leadership
- Develop data-driven solutions for community challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit sector
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS/R/Excel)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Ohio municipal governance structures
- US citizenship and ability to pass background clearance
- Project management certification preferred
