Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts for state agencies
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for senior leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement public programs
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research on emerging public sector trends
- Present findings to legislative committees and public stakeholders
- Monitor compliance with federal/state regulations in program implementation
- Lead interdepartmental task forces for urgent public initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of government/public sector experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Deep understanding of Nebraska state legislative processes
- Proven ability to manage high-stakes projects with tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Nebraska driver's license
