Responsibilities
- Program Oversight: Manage the full lifecycle of government grants and community programs, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local government regulations and reporting standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal departments, external agencies, and community partners, providing clear and professional updates.
- Financial Management: Prepare accurate financial reports, track expenditures, and manage program budgets effectively.
- Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of new public policies and procedural guidelines.
- Crisis Management: Address and resolve operational issues or emergencies as they arise to maintain continuity of services.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government administration, project management, or public sector operations.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of government procurement processes, grant management, and compliance protocols.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with database management systems.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Clearance: Ability to pass a standard background check and obtain necessary government clearances.
