Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate local government programs to improve community infrastructure and services.
- Prepare and submit weekly reports to state agencies and city officials regarding program performance and budget utilization.
- Conduct outreach and provide clear guidance to residents regarding permits, zoning, and public works initiatives.
- Review and process applications for government grants and funding opportunities with a focus on accuracy.
- Maintain and update accurate databases of program participants and service records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline government processes and improve citizen engagement.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in government administration, public sector, or a related non-profit role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and government database software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulations clearly.
- Ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
