Responsibilities
- Digitize, index, and archive physical and electronic government documents to ensure long-term accessibility and compliance.
- Perform quality control checks on data entry to maintain a 99.9% accuracy rate for all records.
- Assist the public and internal staff with information requests regarding government filings and historical archives.
- Operate document management software (e.g., SharePoint, ECM systems) to organize and retrieve files efficiently.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and government data privacy regulations (e.g., FOIA compliance).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment for sensitive government materials.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Records Management, Library Science, or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in data entry, records management, or a similar administrative role.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Reliable transportation and availability to work every Saturday and Sunday.
- Ability to pass a background check and adhere to government security protocols.
