Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems for municipal facilities during overnight hours
- Conduct foot patrols of government buildings and perimeters
- Respond to security alerts and incidents per protocol
- Enforce access control procedures for personnel and visitors
- Document security breaches and incident reports
- Coordinate with emergency services during critical incidents
- Maintain communication with central dispatch and shift supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Massachusetts Class D Security License
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong observational and communication skills
