Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol designated government premises to prevent security breaches
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incident reports with appropriate protocols
- Conduct thorough security inspections of buildings, grounds, and access points
- Enforce safety regulations and issue citations for violations as authorized
- Document incidents, maintain detailed logs, and prepare comprehensive reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical situations
- Operate security equipment including metal detectors, X-ray scanners, and communication devices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid Arizona Driver's License and clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Proficiency in emergency response procedures and first aid/CPR certification
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background investigation
