Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly patrols of state facilities and high-security zones using advanced surveillance systems
- Respond to emergency incidents and security breaches with rapid, coordinated protocols
- Monitor access control points and verify credentials for personnel and visitors
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed incident reports for state authorities
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical nighttime operations
- Conduct routine equipment checks and maintain security infrastructure
- Enforce state security regulations and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Security Officer License or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficient in surveillance technology and access control systems
- Strong communication skills and crisis management abilities
- U.S. citizenship and clean background investigation
- Ability to obtain federal security clearance if required
- Basic first aid and CPR certification
