Responsibilities
- Manage and process incoming correspondence, applications, and official documents with high precision.
- Provide direct assistance to the public regarding city permits, regulations, and services.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both digital and physical records.
- Enter and update data into government databases and management systems.
- Answer high-volume phone inquiries and route messages efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly reports and statistical summaries.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in an administrative or government office setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
