Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and pursue relevant grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors
- Develop persuasive grant proposals, budgets, and reports tailored to specific funder requirements
- Collaborate with program staff to gather compelling project data and impact metrics
- Manage relationships with current and potential funders through professional communication
- Maintain accurate grant calendars, compliance documents, and reporting deadlines
- Analyze funding trends and recommend strategic approaches to diversify revenue streams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Communications, Non-Profit Management, English) or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven success securing funding
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
- Strong research abilities and knowledge of grant databases (e.g., Candid, GrantStation)
- Experience with non-profit financial management and budget development
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software
