Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential court records, documents, and case files with meticulous accuracy
- Process and file legal documents, ensuring compliance with state and federal court procedures
- Assist judges, attorneys, and the public with court scheduling, inquiries, and procedural guidance
- Collect, record, and reconcile court fees, fines, and payments according to established protocols
- Coordinate courtroom operations, including jury management and hearing logistics
- Utilize specialized judicial software for data entry, document management, and reporting
- Provide administrative support to judicial staff and court personnel as needed
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Paralegal Studies, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in legal, governmental, or court settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and court management software (e.g., Odyssey, JIS)
- Deep understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and confidentiality requirements
