Responsibilities
- Execute heavy equipment operations (excavators, loaders, graders) for infrastructure projects
- Perform road maintenance, concrete work, and utility installations
- Conduct site inspections and safety compliance monitoring
- Manage stormwater systems and drainage infrastructure
- Operate snow removal equipment during winter emergencies
- Collaborate with engineering teams on public development projects
- Maintain equipment calibration and safety documentation
Qualifications
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required
- Valid Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Confined space and trenching safety training
- Basic blueprint reading and grade interpretation skills
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ohio EPA Wastewater Operator Class 1 preferred
