Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to traffic regulations and USPS protocols
- Sort and organize mail efficiently using automated and manual sorting systems
- Collect mail from collection boxes and business customers
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report delivery irregularities
- Provide exceptional customer service when assisting customers with inquiries
- Perform equipment maintenance and basic vehicle inspections
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to walk up to 8 hours daily on varied terrain
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical exam
- High school diploma or equivalent required
