Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery routes and postal regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate mileage logs
- Collect postage and fees for certified mail, insurance, and other services
- Report delivery issues, damaged mail, or suspicious activities to supervisors
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required paperwork
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for digital tracking systems
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow precise delivery procedures and schedules
