Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Operate delivery vehicles following strict safety protocols and traffic regulations
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail for daily delivery using automated and manual systems
- Process customer transactions at the point of delivery, including sales of postal products
- Report and document delivery irregularities, damaged mail, or security concerns
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route documentation
- Operate delivery scanners and handheld technology to track deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld devices
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and adapt to seasonal demands
- Strong customer service orientation and reliability
