Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along an assigned city route using a postal vehicle
- Sort, sequence, and organize mail efficiently for timely delivery
- Operate and maintain postal equipment including delivery vehicles and scanners
- Provide exceptional customer service during mail delivery and at customer locations
- Report and document delivery irregularities, damaged mail, or suspicious activities
- Adhere to strict USPS safety protocols and operational procedures
- Complete required administrative tasks and documentation daily
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical assessment
- Basic computer literacy for using USPS technology systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
