Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along an assigned city route efficiently and accurately
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain proper vehicle maintenance
- Sort, sequence, and prepare mail for daily delivery operations
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points and post offices
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and security procedures
- Report delivery issues and maintain route documentation
- Assist with mail processing during peak seasons as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and carry mail sacks
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for USPS systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- US citizenship or permanent residency
