Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages safely along assigned city routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently using automated systems
- Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with USPS safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential/business deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report route irregularities
- Operate scanning technology for package tracking and proof of delivery
- Adhere to USPS policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and walk 8+ hours daily
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Reliable transportation to depot locations
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
