Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Assist customers with vehicle title transfers, registration renewals, and driver’s license applications efficiently and accurately.
- Customer Assistance: Answer inquiries regarding DMV policies, fees, and required documentation.
- System Operations: Utilize state computer systems and kiosks to input data and update customer records.
- Payment Handling: Process cash, checks, and credit card payments while ensuring all transactions are balanced and documented.
- Problem Resolution: De-escalate customer concerns and provide solutions to ensure a positive experience.
- Office Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous customer service or administrative experience is preferred but not always required.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency and strong data entry skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
