- Collect, clean, and validate large-scale datasets to ensure data integrity for federal reporting.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau and Power BI to visualize complex data trends.
- Perform statistical analysis and modeling to support project objectives and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure all data handling processes comply with federal standards, including FISMA and NIST guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Document data workflows, methodologies, and technical specifications for internal and external audiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or a defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Power BI).
- Familiarity with federal compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST) and data governance frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings to non-technical audiences.
