Responsibilities
- Process court filings, manage case dockets, and maintain accurate digital/physical records
- Assist public and legal professionals with document retrieval and procedural inquiries
- Manage court calendar scheduling and coordinate with judges, attorneys, and staff
- Handle financial transactions including fees, fines, and bond processing
- Prepare official correspondence and maintain compliance with judicial protocols
- Support jury management processes and courtroom logistics
- Utilize legal software systems for record-keeping and reporting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years administrative/clerical experience in legal/government setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal databases (e.g., Odyssey, FileTrak)
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations with accuracy
- Knowledge of Texas court procedures and terminology
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
