Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Generate actionable reports for senior leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous validation protocols and quality assurance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop predictive models for threat assessment
- Maintain strict adherence to FISMA, HIPAA, and other federal data standards
- Present findings to executive audiences using Tableau and Power BI visualizations
- Support audit readiness through comprehensive documentation of data processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with federal data systems (e.g., DHS, FBI, or DoD)
- Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Expertise in SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy), and statistical analysis methods
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js)
- Knowledge of federal data governance frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- Strong written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
