Responsibilities
- Manage Federal Network Infrastructure: Oversee and maintain secure communication systems for federal clients, ensuring 99.9% uptime and compliance.
- Implement Cybersecurity Protocols: Apply defense-in-depth strategies and enforce strict security policies to protect sensitive government data.
- Conduct System Audits: Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Provide Technical Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting hardware and software issues for federal personnel.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, changes, and incident reports in accordance with federal standards.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with project managers and engineers to deliver IT solutions on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Must possess or be eligible for an Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal IT environments or with the Department of Defense (DoD).
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or ITIL are highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in network administration, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with senior government officials and technical teams.
