Responsibilities
- Maintain parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, and landscaped areas through mowing, raking, weeding, and planting.
- Perform snow removal and ice control operations during winter months.
- Set up and break down equipment and furniture for community events and sports games.
- Assist visitors and park patrons with inquiries and general park information.
- Monitor park facilities for vandalism, safety hazards, or maintenance needs.
- Operate light machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Physical ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License (preferred but not always required for entry-level).
- Basic knowledge of landscaping practices and tools is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
