Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls via 911 and administrative lines
- Operate multi-channel radio systems to dispatch police units
- Enter/update critical information in CAD systems with precision
- Provide life-saving instructions to callers during emergencies
- Maintain detailed records of all communications and incidents
- Coordinate with other agencies during multi-jurisdictional responses
- Adhere to strict protocols for sensitive information handling
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- US citizenship and valid Arizona driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Clear diction and calm demeanor under high-pressure situations
- Basic computer literacy and data entry proficiency
- No felony convictions or disqualifying criminal history
