Responsibilities
- Advanced Analytics: Design and implement complex data models to support strategic government initiatives and operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Produce high-level, executive-level dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau.
- Data Governance: Ensure all data analysis adheres to strict UK Government security protocols and data protection regulations (GDPR/UK GDPR).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with policy advisors and IT teams to identify data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct rigorous statistical analysis to validate findings and forecast future trends.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data collection processes and recommend modernization strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the public sector or a large corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) is essential.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain Security Clearance (SC or DV) is mandatory for this role.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of UK government frameworks and data compliance standards.
