Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequence and postal regulations
- Operate postal vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and route schedules
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report irregularities
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and ensure safe operation
- Assist with mail processing duties as needed
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
