Responsibilities
- Review and adjudicate immigration applications for accuracy and compliance with federal regulations
- Conduct in-person interviews and background investigations for visa applicants
- Enforce immigration laws and apprehend individuals violating federal statutes
- Maintain detailed case records and prepare comprehensive investigative reports
- Collaborate with federal agencies including ICE and CBP on joint operations
- Provide testimony in immigration court proceedings and administrative hearings
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid driver's license
- Minimum of 3 years law enforcement or federal service experience
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, or related field
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Proficiency in Spanish language (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of background investigation and polygraph examination
- Physical fitness to meet federal law enforcement standards
