Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure and server systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end-users across various county departments.
- Monitor system security and compliance, implementing necessary patches and updates to protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify technology needs and recommend scalable solutions.
- Manage software licensing, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance analysis to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in systems administration or IT support.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking protocols (TCP/IP).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or CCNA are highly preferred.
