Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced statistical methods
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards (FISMA, NIST) and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support defense operations and policy development
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise reports and briefings
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for real-time analytics
- Lead data quality initiatives and implement governance frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in federal government data analysis
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Expertise in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong understanding of federal data regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations
- Experience with geospatial analysis and DoD data systems
- Professional certifications (e.g., AWS Data Analytics, CISSP) a plus
